Kenny Slaught Describes Hoover Dam’s Roots

Kenny Slaught says that Hoover Dam was constructed during America’s Great Depression period, between 1931 and 1936, for which the the government paid $49 millions. The dam used to be called Boulder Dam, but eventually was renamed to Hoover Dam as a tribute to Herbert Hoover, who was then president and made big contributions towards this establishment. Measuring 221 meters in height, 379 meters in length, and over 35.000 cubic kilometers of full capacity, this gigantic structure can produce more than 4,2 billion kWh2 per year.
