Every year, artists, educators, and charity organizations gather together with students to talk about the state of the local arts education. This helps with developing improved future programs. Other projects focus on collecting instruments to donate to students who need them, loans who want to use the Santa Barbara Bowl resources, and sponsorships for art students. Kenny Slaught says that a children’s program is financed by the organization, as well as numerous in-school and after-school programs in areas affected by the Santa Barbara Bowl concerts. The Notes for Notes initiative provides free instruments and lessons to students. The educational outreach projects are facilitated by a large volunteer committee.
